Junior Label Producer Assistant / Ghost Producer

Join Patchouli Deep as a Label Producer Junior Assistant. This unique opportunity allows electronic music producers to contribute directly to official releases through ghost production, create sample packs and sound assets for the label, and collaborate in studio sessions with both emerging and established artists. Candidates must have a strong understanding of our genres (deep house, organic, progressive) and experience producing high-quality work in Ableton Live or other DAWs. While unpaid, the role includes profit-sharing on music sales and streaming if releases are launched. Based in London (remote work possible), this position requires teamwork, adherence to deadlines, and commitment to excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Ghost Production: Collaborate on music for official releases, producing high-quality tracks aligned with Patchouli Deep’s genres (deep house, organic, progressive).

  • Sample Pack Creation: Assemble professional-grade sample packs and sound assets for the record label.

  • Studio Collaboration: Participate in studio sessions with signed artists and label talent, providing creative input and support.

  • Project Deadlines: Meet all production deadlines with consistent, high-quality output.

  • Weekly Meetings and Teamwork: Attend weekly team meetings, contribute ideas, and coordinate with other interns and team members.



Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ableton Live (preferred) or other DAWs.

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience producing deep house, organic, and progressive tracks.

  • Understanding: Strong comprehension of Patchouli Deep’s sound and ethos.

  • Professionalism: Ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work well within a team.

  • Location: London-based preferred, though remote work is possible.
